Driving a boat is fairly easy, but finding a Captain in whose hands you can put your life and property is not easy at all. I am very fortunate to know Mr. Kazım for this very reason. Trusting him unconditionally, I can entrust my clients, friends and boats to Mr. Kazım without any hesitations. Captain Kazım is also an instructor and offers great help to new boat owners getting acquainted with the sea and adapted to their boats. Knowing him for long years, I can easily say that he has rarely seen qualities in our industry such as decency, trustworthiness and sincerity. No wonder why people I referred him to cannot thank me enough even before the end of trainings or transfers.

Our paths crossed with Mr. Kazım many years ago. I was in quest of a savvy, competent and reliable crew member back then. Years passed by, and as the saying goes, “the student has become the master”. Over the course of many years, we assigned Captain Kazım to quite a lot of transfer operations which necessitate the services of a self-disciplined and proficient seaman. And sure enough, we never regretted cooperating with Captain Kazım by virtue of his established capabilities, practicalness and well-honed skills as a captain. From our crew member search to these days, we have built and maintained a strong and lasting fellowship with him.

As an anatomist at his fifties, I have not had seamanship among my interests before in my life. Until I met Captain Kazım, I have not come across anyone whose mind and soul are so deeply immersed in thoughts of the sea. To me, he is a “blue” man and a seaman. Leaving the port, setting sails and navigating accompanied by him have been great pleasures for me. It would not be wrong to say that I got acquainted with the sea thanks to him. Captain Kazım is a professional instructor with amateur spirit who relearns while instructing his trainees. Having met him introduced me to the sea, the seamanship as well as the magic and discipline of sailing along with a great friend.

Mr. Kazım is the person who introduced me to the sea and seamanship. I bought my first boat thanks to his suggestions. That little fishing boat was my initial step as a sea lover. Mr. Kazım instilled into my mind the greatness of a sailboat during our chats about the sea. However, I was rather prone to owning a motorboat. Later on, when I purchased a motorboat he was still there to assist me, despite the fact that my “type of boat” was not his favorite. With the years passing, I followed his recommendations and replaced my motorboat with a sailboat. Thanks to him I am a very happy sailboat owner since then and would like to express my gratitudes to him.

About 7-8 years ago, I had set sail for Turkey from France. Finally, when I arrived in Istanbul, I anchored near the shore in Tarabya, Sarıyer. While I was doing some daily chores and routines aboard, I thought I heard someone calling out. I looked around and then, I saw Captain Kazım standing there when I glanced at the shore. That day, our friendship began to develop right away. Captain Kazım is undoubtedly one of the very few people who excel at mastering sailboatsI have met so far. Thanks to his practical approach, extensive knowledge and result-oriented skills, I have been able to solve numerous problems I encountered by his help and guidance.

I have met Captain Kazım around 4 years ago through Mr. Mehmet Ateş, a master with whom I deeply enjoy discussing about technical boating matters from time to time. Captain Kazım is a savvy seaman with the ability to get ahold of fellow mariners with a genuine friendly approach. His smart, sophisticated and handy suggestions related to solutions of various technical issues prove his profound knowledge enhanced by his wide experience. The solutions he recommends and implements are definitely sure-fire. Mr. Kazım has recently undertaken the successful mounting of mast steps on my sailboat. I would like to express my sincere thanks to him for his great work.
